Based in Brisbane, this is your chance to lead client engagements that protect the brands, people and communities behind some of Queensland's, Australia's and the world's most recognisable organisations.

What will your typical day look like?

You'll lead the execution of client engagements from end to end - solving complex problems, managing timelines, and guiding your team to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently. Much of your work will focus on reviewing, designing and implementing governance, risk and control frameworks that keep our clients resilient.

The frameworks you help build matter well beyond the boardroom. They protect employees, safeguard reputations, and strengthen the communities our clients serve. You'll also help shape the future of the practice, contributing to emerging focus areas like Agile IA, integrated assurance, risk culture and assurance automation.

Coaching sits at the centre of the role. You'll mentor junior team members in the early stages of their careers, build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues across the Deloitte network, and have plenty of fun along the way.

About the team

As part of Deloitte's Control Assurance team, you'll advise some of Australia's largest and most influential organisations on the governance, risk and control frameworks that are vital to protecting their brand, their people and their communities. We're a leader in the Brisbane market, running large internal audit, IT risk and control transformation projects with iconic Queensland, national and global brands. As an outward-looking practice within the Deloitte Asia Pacific firm, we give you a national and global platform to build your profile.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

• Experience in an internal audit, advisory or consulting role

• Strong coaching skills and the ability to mentor colleagues and build internal relationships

• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a talent for making the complex simple

• Experience facilitating interactive, client-centred and action-focused workshops

• A track record of delivering reports, proposals and presentations

• Experience reviewing, designing and implementing governance and risk frameworks and operating models

• Experience designing processes and the governance that oversees them

• A tertiary qualification with relevant professional accreditation
