What will your typical day look like?  

 

Analyse clients’ financial and operational performance data to develop performance improvement strategies through consultation and data analysis, develop service delivery plans for hospitals and primary care services, and work on major health and hospital infrastructure projects.

 

  • Conduct research to inform the development of best-practice operating models and strategic policy advice
  • Develop service delivery plans for hospitals, primary care services and human service providers through consultation and data analysis
  • Develop business cases for a range of health and hospital infrastructure projects
  • Providing technical advice on a range of financial and operational performance issues facing hospitals and health service providers
  • Work in partnership with our clients to execute on the reform agenda for the health system.

Who will you be working with?

 

As part of Deloitte’s Strategy, Risk & Transactions practice, our Infrastructure & Real Estate (IRE) team is focussed on serving our clients in inspirational, impactful, and innovative ways.

 

The IRE offering coves the entire life cycle of an infrastructure project, grouped into four main areas:

  1. Infrastructure Advisory (known internally as Business Case & Strategy) – Shaping, optimising and managing business cases and strategy.
  2. Real Estate Advisory (known internally as Commercial & Transactions) – Structuring your project for maximum value and success.
  3. Project Management and Delivery (known internally as Project Advisory & Delivery) – Providing integrated project and development solutions for our clients.
  4. Health and Human Services (known internally as Operational Transformation) – Driving change for improved outcomes and enhanced delivery for stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A degree in any of the following areas: Health Service Management / Health Information Management, Public Health, Business/Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Science
  • Strong communication skills and keen to work with clinicians and within health services
  • An analytical mindset and a strong foundation in statistics and mathematics
  • Drive and a passion for learning
  • Australian permanent residency or Australian/New Zealand Citizenship
