From your first day as a Deloitte Graduate, you'll help build the financial and economic models clients use to evaluate transactions, test strategic options and make complex decisions with confidence. You'll step into meaningful work early, with structured support and people who are genuinely invested in your growth.

 

What will your typical day look like?

Day to day, you'll work alongside specialists from commerce, quantitative finance, mathematics and science to create tailored modelling solutions for public and private sector clients. Each engagement brings a new challenge, and you'll contribute to meaningful work from the outset.

 

As a Graduate in the Modelling & Insights team, you'll:

  • Develop bespoke financial and economic models to help clients evaluate proposed transactions, new ventures and strategic options
  • Provide insightful quantitative analysis across areas such as forecasting, business cases, project finance and policy analysis
  • Support clients through their most complex decisions by translating data into clear, practical recommendations

 

You'll also be part of our firm-wide Graduate Program, with a permanent, full-time role, a dedicated buddy and coach, flexible work options, and wellbeing support to help you build your career.

 

About the team

The Modelling & Insights team sits within Deloitte's Strategy, Risk & Transactions practice. It brings together people from commerce, quantitative finance, science, mathematics and consulting to develop thoughtful, tailored solutions for clients.

 

You'll work across public and private sector engagements, spanning mergers and acquisitions, project finance and quantitative policy analysis. The team is known for its creative approach to problem-solving, and graduates contribute directly to the models and analysis that inform client decisions.

We're seeking final-year students or recent graduates (within two years) to join our Graduate Program.

 

You may have all or some of the following:

  • Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in financial modelling, quantitative analysis and strategic problem-solving
  • Comfort asking questions and learning through feedback
  • Alignment with Deloitte's values and inclusive culture
  • You'll be studying towards or have completed a relevant degree, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Commerce (Accounting, Economics or Finance), STEM with Commerce, or a related analytical discipline

  • Eligibility: Final-year students or recent graduates (within two years) & Permanent Resident/Citizen of Australia or New Zealand Citizen.
