About the team
In Accounting & Reporting Advisory (ARA), we are focussed on supporting finance teams across all industries by leveraging deep expertise in accounting, finance, and audit. We deliver a tailored approach to each client and geography, with a focus on three core areas:
- Enhance finance team efficiency through process optimisation and technology implementation
- Provide critical guidance during complex events such as mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and implementation of new accounting standard
- Deliver value-driven insights to meet financial, statutory, management, and regulatory reporting requirements.
We are trusted advisors to some of the largest Australian and global corporations, key Federal and State government bodies, and not-for-profit entities.
What will your typical day look like?
Every day you’ll build your skills and knowledge through practical, hands-on experience. You’ll work alongside professionals who are experts in their field, contribute to real client projects, and build your capability through feedback and support.
As a Graduate in the ARA team, you’ll:
- Be part of multi-disciplined team working in areas such as financial and management reporting, regulatory compliance and accounting advice
- Get immediate exposure working on engagements and projects to serve our clients and make their finance functions more efficient and effective, giving you a deep understanding how finance teams work
- Work and learn alongside a genuinely supportive career coach and coaching partner who will help you plan your career journey at Deloitte
You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported through structured learning, feedback and collaboration.

We’re seeking applications from final-year students or recent graduates to join our Graduate program. You may have all or some of the following:
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Interest in accounting advisory work and stakeholder engagement
- Confidence to ask questions and learn through feedback
- Alignment with Deloitte’s values and inclusive culture
- You’ll be studying towards a relevant degree in Accounting
- You’ll be eligible for the Chartered Accountants (CA) Program
