What will your typical day look like?

We are seeking a motivated Consultant to join our Brisbane AI & Data Practice and play a leading role in delivering advisory and technical delivery engagements.

This role demands a strategic, innovative thinker who solves complex client challenges and designs value-driven solutions. You excel in fast-paced environments, adapting to shifting priorities and evolving client demands. With a client-centric approach, you prioritize understanding needs and delivering high-quality, tailored solutions.

 

Skills required to be successful in this role:

  • Strong  AI & Data fundamentals.
  • 3 years’ experience working with organisations (public or private) to understand, design, advise and implement data solutions.
  • Experienced in developing Data Strategy artefacts for organisation that articulate the strategic imperative and direction for their organisation.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent presentation and conversational abilities.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management, effectively engaging senior leaders and communicating the value of Data Governance.
  • Implementation of data governance technologies e.g. Microsoft Purview, Informatica IDMC, Alation, Ataccama, Collibra etc.

 

Good to have

  • Designing data operating and interaction models (Reporting, Data Governance, etc.) for organisation.
  • Familiar with DMBOK and its practical application to support Data Governance goals and pragmatic application to support clients achieving their business objectives.
  • Familiarity with the Australian regulatory landscape, including (for example) the interpretation and application of CPG235 and CPS230, as well as key legislation such as the Privacy Act 1988, My Health Records Act 2012, Telecommunications Act 1997, Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022, and Spam Act 2003; sector-specific guidelines like APRA CPS 234; and international standards like ISO/IEC 27001 will be well regarded.
