Our Asset Management Team is a collaborative, innovative, high-performing group dedicated to helping clients get more from their assets with simple, practical solutions that blend people, process, and technology in novel ways. What will your typical day look like?
As a Consultant in Deloitte’s Asset Management team, you’ll work alongside high-performing specialists to deliver projects that improve performance and create lasting impact for clients across asset-intensive industries such as resources, energy, and infrastructure.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the delivery of project workstreams, focusing on quality outcomes and client value.
- Collaborate with clients and senior team members to solve complex problems and drive operational performance.
- Develop strong relationships with the existing client base whilst growing the Specialist Assets network.
- Proactively pursue client opportunities and deliver proposed solutions to develop a pipeline of work.
- Apply and grow your expertise in asset management to support a range of improvement initiatives.
- Leverage Deloitte’s unique capabilities in structured problem solving, design thinking, digital, data analytics, Deloitte Access Economics and experience from our global consulting network.
- Build your consulting skills through structured training, on-the-job learning, and opportunities for international assignments.
- Travel regularly to client sites, working closely with on-site management teams and gaining valuable hands-on consulting experience

In response to strong client demand for our services, we’re looking for motivated individuals who are ready to launch or grow their career in Asset Management. You don’t need decades of experience — what matters most is your curiosity, drive, and willingness to learn.
You are someone with:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience in asset-intensive industries (resources, energy, or infrastructure), with a focus on maintenance and asset management.
- Strong understanding of asset management concepts, reliability and maintenance optimisation techniques, and spare part management.
- Experience conducting analysis (desktop research, data analysis, reviewing documents etc.)
- Familiarity with structured problem-solving approaches and frameworks.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients.
- Strong competency with the Microsoft 365 Suite of applications.
- Adaptable facilitation skills and confidence in workshops and client settings.
- Proven ability to work in teams and contribute to successful project delivery.
- Curiosity, proactivity, and a drive for continuous learning and development.
