Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in driving how we connect, communicate and deliver a consistent Deloitte experience across our Australian network.

This role is predominantly office-based, given the in-person nature of the work and close collaboration with stakeholders across our offices and markets.

What will your typical day look like?  

You’ll play a key role in bringing clarity and consistency to communications across our offices, ensuring our people have a seamless and engaging experience at work. Acting as a central point of coordination, you’ll help ensure messaging is aligned and reaches the right people at the right time.

Working closely with senior leaders in the communications function, you’ll support delivery across the team and bring a structured, connected approach to how we communicate. You’ll also identify and develop market-specific stories; capturing key moments, initiatives and successes, to showcase what’s happening on the ground and ensure our culture is consistently brought to life across the firm.

Day to day, you’ll: 

  • Be a strategic communications advisor, partnering with Office Managing Partner/s to guide, shape and advise on market-specific communications and priorities
  • Create and deliver compelling stories and campaigns that bring our culture to life across offices and markets
  • Coordinate the broader market communications squad, providing strategic direction and guidance particularly on firm initiatives and campaigns
  • Contribute to content planning and maintain a dynamic editorial calendar
  • Facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration to support market-specific initiatives
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style and messaging across communications
  • Measure impact and use insights to refine and elevate approaches
  • Support internal events with creative, engaging content
  • Explore new formats and channels to drive engagement and innovation

About the team 

The Communications, Media, Change and Experience team (CMCX) team use storytelling and creative communications to elevate the Deloitte brand, with holistic and consistent communications across all internal and external channels.

Curious and forward-thinking, you’re always looking to learn, experiment, and explore new approaches to deliver meaningful content.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience in a communications, media or creative field 
  • 3+ years of strategic communication or brand communications  
  • Proficiency in multimedia production platforms like Canva, Shootsta. Adobe, Illustrator 
  • Exceptional written communication skills - clear, creative and compelling 
  • Sound knowledge of how people consume and engage with content across channels and platforms  
  • Knowledge of digital marketing/content marketing 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and project management experience  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly focused professional services environment.
