Monitor Deloitte is the strategy practice of Deloitte, part of the Strategy & Business Design Offering Portfolio. We are looking for an Associate Director to join our team.

Our work spans a diverse range of industries across the Asia-Pacific region, from ASX-listed companies to the public and social sectors. We partner with senior executives and leaders to tackle their most complex challenges, bringing global perspectives and turning strategic choices into portfolios of impactful initiatives that drive value and sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving landscape. 

What will your typical day look like?
 
More specifically, working in a supportive and collegial team, you will be involved in

• Advise senior client stakeholders on strategy, operating model, and transformation challenges.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to drive alignment and progress on complex problems
• Conduct strategic analysis including market research, competitive benchmarking, trend analysis, and data synthesis to derive actionable conclusions
• Lead and manage project teams of up to five, overseeing day-to-day delivery and quality
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships across engagement lifecycles
• Represent Deloitte at industry events, conferences, and university and recruitment activities
• Lead internal training facilitation and contribute to firm capability development
• Manage project administration including scheduling, timesheets, and commercial tracking

 
About the team

You’ll help clients with their most pressing challenges by designing growth and competitive strategies, transforming business and operating models, and creating innovation and venture propositions that drive sustained commercial value. You’ll deliver innovative solutions and strategic recommendations by conducting comprehensive market research, building analytical models, and presenting insights to support your conclusions. You’ll also directly engage with clients through designing and facilitating interviews and workshops. 

You’ll collaborate with experts across Deloitte, such as Deloitte Access Economics, Deloitte Digital, Sustainability & Climate, and Engineering, AI & Data. You’ll grow in a culture that prioritises continuous development, mentorship, and a comparatively healthy work-life balance.

• Corporate and customer strategy development, including where-to-play and how-to-win framing
• Operating model design across organisational structure, governance, and ways of working
• Strategic and quantitative analysis including market sizing, scenario modelling, and competitive assessment
• Integrated planning and performance framework design linking strategy to operational execution
• Technology and data strategy, including data operating model and platform advisory
• Stakeholder engagement and facilitation at senior and board levels
• Cross-functional team leadership and project delivery management
• Business development, including pipeline management and proposal development
