Deloitte’s Workforce Transformation team work with leading organisations to help them define their future workforce, from defining strategic business capabilities, to workforce planning, workforce analytics and insights through the delivery of talent, leadership and learning interventions to address gaps and enhance workforce performance. Deloitte’s Workforce Transformation services leverage research, analytics, and industry insights to help design and execute critical programs.


What will your typical day look like?  


As Learning Experience Designer , Consultant  within the Learning Experience Squad, you’ll consult with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design memorable and engaging learning experiences for our clients.  You’ll take a holistic approach to design, focusing on the user experience, learning environment and instructional design. You’ll shape the learning experience by defining learning objectives, creating program outlines, determining the right content and topic mix, selecting the best delivery methods to support blended learning and examining the overarching learner journeys.

We’re seeking a learning professional who has worked in either private or public sectors, ideally with consulting experience. You’ll have strong passion for learning and advocate for the needs of modern learners. Creativity and innovation are key.  


We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Strong experience designing large scale learning programs and blended learning experiences, leveraging a range of modalities 
  • Proficiency using instructional design methodologies 
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern learning needs and adult learning principles 
  • Experience designing comprehensive learning journeys, including (but not limited to) instructor-led training and workshops (virtual and physical), digital learning modules, videos, podcasts, gamified exercises, job aids, handouts, interactive activities and other learning resources 
  • Understanding of LMS and LXP platforms 
  • Experience assessing and building content to apply with accessibility and quality standards 

The following is desirable:

  • 2-3 yrs of expereince working as a Learning Expereince Designer
  • Experience developing learning assets, eg. Trainer guides, participant guides, digital learning content, videos, etc. 
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript  highly regarded
  • Relevant training degree or diploma preferred
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE), desirable but not essential
