Deloitte’s Workforce Transformation team work with leading organisations to help them define their future workforce, from defining strategic business capabilities, to workforce planning, workforce analytics and insights through the delivery of talent, leadership and learning interventions to address gaps and enhance workforce performance. Deloitte’s Workforce Transformation services leverage research, analytics, and industry insights to help design and execute critical programs.

 

What will your typical day look like?  

 

As an Instructional Designer – Learning & Assessment within the Learning Experience Squad, you’ll partner with subject matter experts and the project team to design memorable and effective learning solutions for our clients. You’ll define the learning objectives and consider the best curriculum, courseware, exercises, assessments and learning tools to help deliver the client’s learning outcomes. A typical day may include creating session plans, building learning and trainer guides, writing course materials and designing assessments. 

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you 

 

We’re seeking a learning professional who has worked in either private or public sectors, ideally with consulting experience. You’ll have strong passion for learning and advocate for the needs of modern learners. Creativity and innovation are key.  

 

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Strong experience designing blended learning experiences, leveraging a range of modalities 
  • Proficiency using instructional design methodologies 
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern learning needs and adult learning principles 
  • Experience designing a range of learning assets, including (but not limited to) instructor-led training and workshops (virtual and physical), digital learning modules, videos, podcasts, gamified exercises, job aids, handouts, interactive activities and other learning resources 
  • Strong experience building assessment activities and supporting assessment frameworks and tools (eg. Rubrics) 
  • Experience assessing and building content to apply with accessibility and quality standards 

 

The following is desirable:

  • 2-3 yrs of expereince working as a Instructional Designer
  • Experience developing learning assets, eg. Trainer guides, participant guides, digital learning content, videos, etc. 
  • Understanding of LMS platforms (canvas, cornerstone, Workday etc)
  • Expereince with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Relevant training degree or diploma preferred
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE), desirable but not essential
