We have opportunities available in our Deloitte Business Modelling (DBM) Adelaide team. We are looking for a curious, motivated team member to join us to help support our clients and enable the delivery of successful outcomes.

What will your typical day look like?

You will:

  • Assist in the design, development and review of financial models and analytical solutions for a range of client sectors and industries
  • Analyse and interpret data to draw meaningful insights for our clients
  • Support clients throughout the decision-making processes, using outstanding technical and commercial skills on strategic projects and transactions
  • Utilise communication skills to present outcomes and make recommendations
  • Support business development initiatives and activities
  • Work within a high-performing team that is committed to excellence
  • Experience cross business unit collaboration working with colleagues in Valuation, M&A, Economics, Energy and Infrastructure
  • Actively promote knowledge sharing within the national, Asia-Pacific and global modelling teams

Your role will include working across an exciting range of engagements such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate modelling, budgeting and forecasting, scenario planning, feasibility studies, business cases, and social and economic studies.

You are someone with:

  • An analytical approach to problem solving, a curious mind, and a positive attitude
  • A strong willingness to continuously develop and learn new tools and skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A strong interest in financial modelling and financial analysis
  • Desire to take early responsibility and strong teamwork skills

 

It would be of interest if you have experience or interest in the following, including but not limited to:

  • Excel, SQL, R, SAS, Python
  • Power BI and Tableau
  • Statistical modelling and machine learning
