What will your typical day look like?

 

Working under the Skills Academy team as either a senior analyst or manager, this is not your typical external audit role as your clients will be your team. This team is focussed on developing auditors of the future and will provide a market leading foundation in audit quality through immersive training in core audit and business fundamentals.

 

You will be purely dedicated to coaching and developing small teams of external audit graduates and analysts in areas such as audit, compliance-based financial reporting, information systems audits, and teach crucial skills such as project management. The role offers the perfect opportunity to step back from a client facing role and hone your coaching and people management skills and build relationships with cohorts.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

 

  • Several years of experience in external audit with experience leading teams
  • Professional services experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (preferable)
  • Possess a CA qualification or equivalent (preferable)
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree or above in accounting/commerce or a related field
  • Strong understanding of auditing principles, practices, and standards
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and multitasking skills
