What will your typical day looks like?   
Cyber security threats are constantly evolving, and the security solution landscape is becoming more complex. That’s why our work is more meaningful (and exciting) than ever. Always one step ahead, we support clients with being secure, vigilant, and resilient against cyber related threats through end-to-end advisory, implementation, and managed services. We’re a team of strategists, architects, engineers, and leaders that help clients understand and address security risks to build smarter, faster, and more connected futures.

You will be responsible for delivering cyber security advisory, testing and transformation projects to assist organisations with uplifting security capabilities, including the design of security controls to support information and operational technology transformation projects. You will work with small specialist teams (locally and nationally) to support a wide range of leading organisations with a diverse range of cyber security projects.  

 

About the team  

In Adelaide our Cyber Risk team has over 25 people, which is part of a national practice of over 550 people. Our Adelaide team includes a diverse range of capabilities including cyber strategy and governance, infrastructure security, assurance and detect & respond. Our Adelaide team works with a wide variety of large organisations across energy and resources, public sector, and financial services.  

 

We are looking for an additional Senior Analyst to join our growing team, with a focus on strategy, governance, risk, and architecture advisory services and enabling the delivery of cyber transformation programs. Not only will this provide significant opportunities to work with a wide variety of leading organisations, but it will also provide excellent learning opportunities that will accelerate your career in cyber security. The role will provide significant technical and professional skills training.   

 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.  

You will bring a diverse background in cyber security, having worked alone or in teams. You will bring experience managing risk across various cyber and technology risk domains, matched with strong communication and interpersonal skills, which will enable you to engage at different levels of client organisations, in relation to the cyber agenda. 

You are a person who can demonstrate some or more of the following:  

  • Understanding and application of cyber security industry frameworks and technical standards (eg ISO 27001, NIST, APRA CPS234, SA CSF, AESCSF, ISA62443)  
  • Broad awareness of security capabilities, controls, and solutions (including awareness of cloud environments and security technologies) 
  • Understanding of operational technology concepts desirable, but not required.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Enthusiasm for self-development around technical skills and certifications  
  • Ability to work in small teams. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, to engage with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with implementing or supporting security platforms and tools will be highly regarded.
  • (Desirable) Relevant certifications / qualifications such as an information security related degree, Security+, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CRISC, CISA etc
