Our TS&T team is at the forefront of technology and innovation, helping our clients imagine their business, solve the most complex business and technology problems and accelerate their transformational journey. We are currently hiring Manager within our practice in Adelaide for the following area of expertise:
- Program Integration including project & program management and technology enabled transformation delivery.
What will your typical day look like?
As a Manager within our technology practice, you will provide exceptional client experiences leading teams in applying our methodologies to deliver our core services. As a leader and role model, expect to:
- Build strong client relationships, working closely with senior stakeholders day-to-day
- Lead project delivery teams to ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards
- Run meetings and workshops to track progress, solve issues, and keep workstreams on track
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, risks, issues, and achievements
- Prepare governance reporting for steering committees, program boards, and other forums
- Manage delivery plans, schedules, and dependencies across multiple workstreams and teams
- Support financial tracking and forecasting, including budgets and program performance
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across different technologies and business areas
- Contribute to RFI/RFP responses, including shaping scope, estimates, and delivery approach
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping build capability and team performance
- Work with Deloitte leaders and wider network to support successful client outcomes
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture
About the team
Our dynamic Adelaide Technology, Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) practice sits as part of a connected national and APAC team.
It is responsible for answering the most challenging client problems: how can Technology strategy enable a business to deliver outcomes; how do we select and design technology to enable growth; how do we structure their enterprise and domain architecture functions; how to solve complex business and technology problems; and how to execute technology-led transformations. By joining our team, you gain access to a network of local and global experts to answer our client’s problems and to grow you as a professional.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with 5+ years' experience in a client facing, project manager role either in house or in a Consulting environment. You are self-motivated and have a passion for business and technology transformation programs across a range of industries, with the following demonstrated capabilities:
- Proven track record of successfully leading technology and business transformation programs
- Confident in navigating challenging project competing demands and identifying priorities critical to the project’s success
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams through traditional and agile methodologies
- Experience managing senior stakeholders with strong written and verbal communications skills and possess a thirst for knowledge whilst seeking out innovative solutions
- Ability to consult to solve challenges and influence outcomes
- Experience in being able to motivate and coach individuals to high performance levels
- Experience in conflict management and the ability to mediate and mitigate challenges that arise during delivery environments
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with senior stakeholders in a concise and informative nature with awareness of the need for communication to be fit for purpose of audience and situation
- An observant and active risk and issue radar with ownership to manage resolutions or escalations via governance processes and forums
- Effective management of contractual terms and obligations through delivery, including change variations
- Certification or experience applying Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2 or equivalent methodologies
