We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Delivery Lead with strong people leadership capabilities to lead and deliver complex projects while fostering a high-performing, engaged, and collaborative team environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management, delivery focus, and the ability to inspire and support team members to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
- Develop and manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and change management processes.
People Leadership:
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and direct mentoring to team members.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
- Support the growth and development of team members through performance feedback, career conversations, and recognition.
- Identify and address any resourcing gaps, team dynamics, or wellbeing issues.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes to a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership.
- Influence and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and team performance.
- Contribute to practice development and the broader project management community.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of mid-to-large scale technology projects.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong risk management, planning, and reporting skills.
- Experience working within structured project governance frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM).
- Experience in the development and implementation of ERP modules desirable.
- Experience in Peoplesoft
