Our Graduate Program is a permanent, full-time role from day one, with structured learning, real-world client work, and hands-on projects to build your career. You’ll be supported by a dedicated buddy and coach, flexible work options, and wellbeing support as you grow your skills and confidence.

About the team
Our Sustainability & Industrial Technology (S&IT) team works with a diverse range of clients across Design & Manufacturing, Government, and Agrifood - industries that are committed to driving Australia’s transition towards greater sovereignty, sustainable manufacturing, and value-added innovation.
Within our team, you'll collaborate on cutting-edge digital and AI projects for asset intensive industries like transport, mining, defence, energy, climate and agriculture, with a particular focus on:
- Digital Twins & Simulation
- Supply Chain & Operational Resilience
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Smart Manufacturing & Operations
You'll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team that helps clients navigate complex challenges, embrace digital transformation, and build a more sustainable, future-ready Australia.
What will your typical day look like?
Our teams are centred around transforming businesses in areas such as sustainability, value chain, digital twins, asset management, strategy, and innovation. We aim to support the energy transition of the planet, our local economy, and our people. You will:
- Build your skills and capabilities: Depending on your passion we have training courses for you from consulting strategy and operations to Smart Manufacturing, AI and Machine Learning.
- Contribute to program delivery and pursuits: Contribute to proposals and pursuit documents and enable effective delivery of projects with a focus on outcomes and impact.
- Work on some of the most difficult projects in Australia: Undertake operations, transformation-focused projects, and work with government and businesses to develop their strategic capability.
- Network, network, network! Work with a high-performing team with a strong commitment to helping our clients develop more resilient business models and build the capability to be more successful.

We’re seeking final year students or recent graduates (within 2 years) to join our graduate program. At Deloitte, we see past experience and value your ethics and potential to grow more than anything else. You’re someone who:
- Combines logical thinking with creativity to approach problem-solving in a unique way
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thrives in collaborative environments
- Is unafraid of difficult problems and ambiguity
- Preferred degrees include:
- S&IT – Commerce, STEM, Business, International Relations, Government, Policy, Engineering degree with an interest in IT/software aspect.
- PLM – IT/Comp Science/Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, Software Eng). Engineering students who have an interest in IT, or IT students who have an interest in engineering.
- Smart Manufacturing & Operations: Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics) students who have an interest in Automation, SCADA. IIoT, MES, and integration plant to IT systems
You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported through structured learning, feedback and collaboration.
