Deloitte's Tax & Legal team is seeking talented experienced Analysts or Senior Analysts to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will collaborate with some of our most preeminent Global and iconic Australian clients as we team with them in tackling their most complex commercial challenges.
You'll have the opportunity to build and refine your corporate tax knowledge while contributing to high-impact projects alongside the brightest minds in the profession.
What will your typical day look like?

- Assisting senior team members with core technical income tax compliance support and expert tax advice and services to some of the region’s largest businesses. You will provide input into advice for a diverse range of clients on a wide range of income tax matters.
- Be confident in delegating aspects of engagements to more junior team members, reviewing their work, acting as a buddy and providing structured feedback
- Engaging with a diverse range of clients across various industries, providing strategic tax advice and simplifying tax management
- Communicating with external stakeholders including the Australian Taxation Office and participating in client meetings
- Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with team members, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
- Continuously developing your technical and professional skills through mentoring and training opportunities.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
- A qualification in Accounting, Law, or a related field.
- 2-4 years relevant tax compliance and advisory experience from a Big 4, legal, or accounting firm.
- A passion for client service and teamwork, with excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Confidence in undertaking detailed tax research and communicating findings to assist in providing tax advice to clients
- Strong numerical and Excel skills
- A desire to learn, grow, and develop continuously.
